11th INFORMS COMPUTING SOCIETY CONFERENCE
Operations Research and Cyberinfrastructure
Charleston, South Carolina
January 11-13, 2009
Note that papers for the conference volume are due by June 1, 2008, just 7 weeks from now. We look forward to receiving your high-quality submissions soon.
The INFORMS Computing Society (ICS) solicits papers and presentations for its eleventh conference on the interface of computer science (CS), artificial intelligence (AI), operations research, and management science (OR/MS).
The conference organizers invite you to submit theoretical and applied work that highlights the conference theme Operations Research and Cyberinfrastructure, in particular:
high-performance computing and communications;
data management, analysis, and visualization;
virtual organizations; and
learning and workforce development.
Areas of interest also include (but are not limited to) design and analysis of algorithms, heuristic search and learning, modeling languages, parallel and distributed computing, simulation, and computational logic. Work that focuses on new or novel applications in the interface of CS, AI, and OR/MS is especially welcome.
We are especially interested in receiving proposals for tracks and sessions in line with the general conference themes at this time. Email proposals to the organizers at email@example.com. Papers and presentations can be submitted via the conference web site.
SUBMISSIONS are in two categories:
(1) fully-refereed papers for the conference volume published by Springer (also presented at the conference), and
(2) papers for presentation only.
